The simplicity of a few ingredients

With traditional Japanese ingredients we can prepare tasty dishes, like this recipe. Today, however, we want to talk to you about a really simple and quick chicken-based dish, ready in less than half an hour. It is chicken katsu curry, made with chicken and spices.

The ingredients that we will need are an onion, a potato and a carrot. Rice, an egg, breadcrumbs, flour and Japanese curry. We can start by boiling the potato, carrot and onion in water for twenty minutes. Apart we can start cooking steamed rice. Now we can dissolve the Japanese curry cube in the vegetables to obtain a thick sauce that we will use as a condiment.

Before cooking the chicken cutlets we can season them and then coat them in egg, flour and breadcrumbs.

In the pan we can start heating the frying oil and when the temperature is high enough we start frying by immersion. We will have to get some golden and well cooked slices.
