The contest, which focuses on the realization of the Classic Pizza on the Plateruns from February 9 Regional Competitions(3 in the North, 3 in the Center and 3 in the South), in which 20 pizza makers per stage. The race will continue in June and July with the 3 semifinals scheduled on the beaches of Calabria, Abruzzo and Emilia Romagna. End September 10 at the headquarters of Molino Dallagiovanna on the occasion of the celebrations for the company’s 190th anniversary.
To judge the pizza makers in the competition is a qualified jury composed of industry experts, bloggers and journalists including Gambero Rosso representatives. Candidates will be evaluated based on: dough recipe (basic knowledge of kneading techniques, execution method, creativity), presentation of the final dish (plate, harmony, creativity), taste (chewability, harmony of flavors and combinations, cooking), candidate’s professionalism (dress and presence, communication skills, management and cleanliness of the workplace).
The technical partner of the entire competition is moretti-forni, a leading company in baking technologies for leavened products, which hosted the Marche contest at its MorettiLAB Cooking Academy. On the occasion of the semifinals and the final, Molino Dallagiovanna will have the collaboration of melted foodthe cooking school of which he has been a partner for many years in support of the training and excellence of the professions.
